Mark’s Tilapia alla Milanese

“M” is for MARK!! (That’s actually the 2 fillets side by side. Bizarre, huh?)

Serves 2 / Prep Time – 3 Min / Cook Time – 10 Min

  • 2 Tilapia fillets (3oz each)
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch of marjoram
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Mix the flour and seasonings in a bowl. On a medium heated skillet, add butter and olive oil until butter is melted. Dredge Tilapia in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg and put back in the flour mixture until covered completely. Place tilapia in the skillet and cook for 3 minutes on either side or until done.

  2. I’ve been eating so much tilapia lately and this looks so good. Can’t really tolerate any meat right now so this recipe is on my to-do list. Thanks for posting!
